Does NPC Texas test for drugs?
NPC Texas only drugs test at one show - Lackland.

What contests outside the NPC does the NPC recognize ?
NPC Texas does not recognize any other bodybuilding affiliations other than other NPC states and or the IFBB (professional division)

How can we boost participation in female bodybuilding?
By promoting a healthier and more feminine look.

Why in Texas can you not go straight into the open division in bodybuilding?  How do you become an open-level competitor?
We just changed the rules - a competitor can go straight to Open - but if he gets top 5 he cannot go back to Novice.  You cannot do both Open and Novice in the same show.

Once you become nationally qualified, how long are you nationally qualified for?  Is it two years from the date of your NQ or all the way through the end of the second year after you got qualified?
You are qualified for 2 years beginning on the next calendar January.  i.e. if you win the Texas State in July '06 - you are qulaified until Dec '08.

In a figure NQ, how many girls get NQ'ed per class and what is the cutoff between getting qualified for all national-level shows and just the junior-level shows?
In Figure - at a NQ - the top 2 advance to the Usa and Nationals - the top 5 are qualified for the Jrs.

Can we use Dream Tan?
Dream tan has been outlawed by NPC Texas - reason being - the hotels and venues charge fines for stains on towels sinks and tubs,  These fines are payed by the room occupant.  venues will not let us come back next year.

What suits are allowed for the morning show and for the evening show? Fabric?
For bodybuilding, all NPC regulated  suits are allowed at this point - velvet included.  Only multi colored suits are not allowed for am or pm.

What about piercing/jewels?
Piercing and Jewelry we will go over at the meeting.
